1. Microchip & Identification
Licensed Veterinarian must verify the presence of any microchips and must be on documentation.
2. Rabies Vaccination
Your pet cat or dog must be vaccinated for rabies between 30 days and 12 months prior to entry into the country.
Pets must have a valid rabies certificate not less than thirty days from time of vaccination and not more than twelve months.
3. Titre Tests & Bloodwork
A rabies titer test is not required to enter Guinea Republic from any country.
4. Breed Restrictions
Article 148: The types of dogs likely to be particularly
dangerous and subject to specific measures are divided into two categories:
1. First category: attack dogs;
2. Second category: guard and defense dogs.
A joint decree of the Minister of the Interior and the Minister responsible for livestock.
NOTE Category 1 dogs are prohibited from being imported into republic of Guinea. Awaiver can be applied for if the importation of Attack dogs is of public interest.

All domestic dogs and cats must be free of evidence of disease communicable to humans when examined at the entry airport. If your dog or cat is not in apparent good health, further examination by a licensed veterinarian may be required at your expense.
