Thailand Pet Import Requirements
Official veterinary regulations, microchip standards, rabies rules, and breed restrictions for entering Thailand.
1. Microchip & Identification
Microchip is Required.
2. Rabies Vaccination
Pets must be vaccinated against Rabies at minimum age of 12 weeks and no less than 21 days prior to the departure. Pets from free of Rabies certified countries do not need a Rabies vaccination.

3. Titre Tests & Bloodwork
For dogs, beside the vaccination, Leptospirosis can be done by test. The dogs shall arrive in Thailand within 30 days after receiving the negative result.
4. Quarantine Requirements

Excess baggage pets are not required for customs clearance. Manifest cargo pets are required for customs clearance.
Customs working hours:
Monday â Friday 08:30 â 16:30 hours. Clearance beyond working hours is available for pre-arrangement. Weekend and holiday clearance are also possible.
Minimum clearance process is approx. 3-4 hours after actual landing time.
Expected import tax & duty is 30% of CIF value
