Bangladesh Pet Import Requirements

1. Microchip & Identification
For Cat & Dog
It must be microchipped with an ISO 11784/11785 compliant pet microchip that is 15-digit and non-encrypted before being vaccinated.
For Bird:
Only need NOC prior to arrival or departure from Forest Ministry.
2. Rabies Vaccination
DRabies Shot required not less than 30 days and not more than one year prior to arrival or departure.
3. Titre Tests & Bloodwork
No Test Required.
4. Quarantine Requirements
Soft copies of the above documents should be emailed to livestockquarantinehsia@gmail.com at least 7 days before the animals are brought to or from Bangladesh. If you have any requirements regarding the Quarantine Certificate, you can contact +88â02â8901032.
The health of the animals and carry out quarantine activities responsibly in a service-minded manner. Exempt the cat or dog from quarantine after the government receives the prescribed quarantine fee (which is subsequently deposited in the government treasury through TR challan)
5. Breed Restrictions
Under the law of The Imports and Exports ( Control), Act 1950 (XXXIX of 1950), if any animal or animal product may cause disease to animals or humans, it can be quarantined, prohibited from being imported or exported, or otherwise controlled under the government's import and export policy orders.

Passengers carry various animals and animal products (such as pet dogs, cats) during arrival and departure at the HSIA terminal building. A No Objection Letter (NOC) should be obtained from the office of the Assistant Director (Training), Directorate of Livestock, Khamarbari, Farmgate, Dhaka, Tel: +88â02â9115936, adtraining.dls@gmail.com for bringing the above animals to or from Bangladesh.
The following documents are to be sent to get the quarantine certificate from the Livestock Quarantine Station at the airport.
a) Export Permit from CCIE
b) No Objection Letter.
c) Veterinary Health Certificate.
d) Vaccination card.
e) Pictures of animals.
