Guadeloupe Pet Import Requirements

1. Microchip & Identification

Your pet's passport to enter Guadeloupe will include proof of microchip, rabies and other vaccinations, an import permit, and an international export health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian in the origination country.

2. Rabies Vaccination

Required. If it is the pet’s first vaccination it is considered valid 21 days after its application. Booster vaccinations must be applied no less than 30 days and no more than 12 months from travel date.

3. Titre Tests & Bloodwork

Titer test must be administered if a pet is entering from a high-rabies country. If the test results are between acceptable limits, pets can enter Guadeloupe no sooner than 3 calendar months after the blood was drawn. Not required if it is not coming from a high-rabies country.

4. Quarantine Requirements

Pets entering Guadeloupe will not be quarantined upon arrival if they meet the required import regulations.

5. Breed Restrictions

French regulations apply: As a French territory, Guadeloupe follows French pet import regulations.
